Resurrection

I have died

And I have lived

I’ve experienced horrific events that no one else could even imagine

And throughout all my suffering, I could only relate to one person

I reached out to him, but only later did I realize he was reaching out to me

I fell deeply, hit the ground hard

It was then that I knew there was no backing out of this

I was dead and reborn

He was my motivation to resurrect into the phoenix I am today

My only motivation from then on out
