Fear.

It is always around you, behind you, within you.

It will always exist in the deepest trenches of your heart.

Fear can do many things to a man,

Change him, make him go insane.

Though, I’m one to talk.

I’ve already undergone this effect.

Fear has ruled my life, as it soon will yours.

Fear cannot be instilled without a drive, a motive.

But I have found that solution.

Have you ever heard of fear gas? No?

It might be floating through the room now.

It takes your greatest fear and brings it to life.

Though but a mere illusion, it will make you mad.

You won’t be able to escape your living nightmare

And it will soon become your reality,

Living with fear, embracing it, just like me.

Paranoia at every turn, never knowing where you’re going.

Your only escape will be death.

That is my goal, to have others fear like I did

And eventually fear me.

I used to be feared by another name, Dr. Crane,

But you will fear me by a different name.

Fear the Scarecrow!
