The biggest lie in the world
For what is today’s rally
But tomorrow’s protest?
The people are one
One singular person is the people
And the definition is all subjective
We govern our own person
Not each other
We gather because power overthrows
And then we retreat
Rats to our holes
Ever cursing our home of sewage
We fight with ink
And bleed piss
We still dare to think of us as one
The voice wants to rule
Time and time again
The only voice we should be following
Is the one inside our heads
At least that voice has the gall to fight back
